Registration Platform Update:
Earlier this summer, families were notified that our activities registration and scheduling platforms would be migrating to ArbiterSports due to a company acquisition. However, after careful review and consideration, we have decided to transition instead to a different platform: BOUND. A few schools in our conference have already made the switch to BOUND over the past couple of years and have reported positive experiences with the platform. We’re confident this move will better serve our students, families, and staff moving forward. We appreciate your patience and support through this transition. Instructions on how to register were sent in late July to families of students in grades 7-12 (click here to review the instructions: Bound - Welcome Email).
What is required to be eligible to practice on the first day?
Submit online registration form - The link to Rockford's BOUND Registration site is available on this page under REQUIRED REGISTRATION FORMS. To register, parents/guardians need to create a family account with a parent email and password. All registration and eligibility forms are available to be electronically signed on the registration site.
Fee payment - Activity fees are paid on the BOUND Registration site. Payment by cash or check is also accepted. The activity fee must be paid by the first day of practice to be eligible to practice or participate. Players will not be turned away due to financial hardship. Please reach out to the Activities office for assistance with a payment plan.
Sports-Qualifying Physical Exam Requirement – Minnesota
In Minnesota, sports-qualifying physical exams are valid for three years from the date of the exam. A current physical exam is required before a student can participate in any practices or athletic events. To ensure timely clearance, upload the physical exam to the BOUND registration site before the first day of practice.
If the Activities office already has a copy of your child's physical:
-
The exam date has been uploaded into BOUND and no further action from you will be required for the physical on the registration site. Please do not delete the exam date that has been uploaded to BOUND.
-
If the exam has expired, you must upload a new, current physical during registration.
If this is your first time registering for a sport with the district:
-
You must upload your child’s current physical exam to complete and submit the athletic registration.
MSHSL Eligibility Statement & Sports Health Questionnaire - This form is included on the BOUND registration site and is required to be electronically signed by player and parent at the time of registration.
During the summer months, fees paid with cash/check can be turned in at the RHS main office on Wednesdays during summer office hours.
