The Launching Pad Preschool provides an outstanding and unique public preschool experience. Launching Pad Preschool embraces a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to education which encourages exploration, discovery and critical thinking. We use Creative Curriculum which is researched based and aligned with the Minnesota Early Childhood Indicators of Progress, Minnesota's Early Learning Standards.
Our program is founded on the belief that all children have great potential, are curious, and are interested in constructing their learning. Activities are exciting, creative, and developmentally appropriate. To encourage children's growth and learning, we focus on project-based and inquiry-based learning, and authentic art experiences. Children learn and play together in an atmosphere that is inviting and rich in opportunities to explore. They are encouraged to problem solve and try new ways to do “old” things in accepting, secure surroundings. The caring and highly trained staff interacts with the children, engaging them in conversations about their work and encouraging them to reach beyond their current abilities.
The entire program is designed to be engaging and fun so children don’t just learn, they love to learn!
