Superintendent's Office
Dr. Jeff Ridlehoover has been an educational leader for over 25 years. Prior to his tenure in Rockford, Dr. Ridlehoover served in a variety of leadership and educational positions, including Superintendent of Schools for Sartell-St. Stephen, Assistant Superintendent of Mounds View Public Schools, Principal of Mounds View High School, Associate Principal at Wayzata High School, and Assistant Principal (intern) in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. Prior to working as a school administrator, Dr. Ridlehoover taught chemistry and coached at both Champlin Park High School and McGuire Middle School (Lakeville). Dr. Ridlehoover has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Hamline Graduate School of Education since 2014.
Dr. Ridlehoover is an accomplished and recognized leader in the field of education. Accolades include being selected as the Minnesota Principal of the Year, Hennepin Division Assistant Principal of the Year, and his 2010 doctoral dissertation was selected as the National High School Dissertation of the Year. Dr. Ridlehoover and his colleagues have also been credited with several Star of Innovation awards as selected by the Minnesota Association of Secondary Principals.
Shared leadership, valued partnerships, and strong relationships serve as the core values of Dr. Ridlehoover’s leadership style. These core values, coupled with a systems approach, involving alignment and structure provide clear direction for Rockford Area Schools.
Dr. Ridlehoover is a proud graduate of White Bear Lake Area High School. Dr. Ridlehoover also holds a Bachelors of Science, in Chemistry, from the University of Minnesota, a Masters of Arts, in Education, from the University of St. Thomas, and a Doctorate degree, in Education, from Hamline University.
Dr. Ridlehoover and his wife, Karin, have four children, and when not at work, they enjoy spending time in various gyms, at ballfields, or on their boat in northern Minnesota.
